The Polaris and the empty saucepan
To my Polaris,
The world has talked enough about distances being a barrier in relationships and friendships. I am going to ignore it like its not even a thing between us. And rather talk about stars. There are infinite number of stars over our head. Out of all these stars there is this one star called Polaris that sits right on top of the north pole and helps us to navigate along our way. "Who are we kidding? Google map helps us navigate around the world not the stupid star" people might say. But at least it had helped our ancestors. It is in line with a constellation of seven stars called Ursa Major or Saucepan. The tip of the mouth of the saucepan always point in the direction of the immobile Polaris. However, the saucepan rotates anticlockwise about the Polaris but always point the way to the great Polaris. So if you find the forever empty Saucepan sitting on the night sky you can probably navigate to northern hemisphere by finding the Polaris. This girl who probably will never find the saucepan or the Polaris before she dies, wonders if you are her Polaris who is constant in her life or if she is your empty Saucepan who can never leave your side.
Your forever empty saucepan.
